PPL - H (Private Pilot Licence) (Page1/2)
A private pilot licence givs you the possibility to fly a helicopter on your own. You can bring friends and acuaintance (but not for payment). You have to be over 17 years old.
Information about the policy for student licence can be found at the Civil aviation authority in your country!
Before you can start your education you need an student permission. To obtain this permit, commonly the following is needed:
-Application for student permission. This can be obtained from the Civil aviation authority in your country.
-Birth certificate with citizenship and place of birth.
-Personal clearence. Criminal record clearence from the police
-Medical certificate, class 2.
This is obtained after approved medical examination by doctor autorized by
your civil aviation authority.
A medical certificate shows that you are by health medicly approved to be a commander for a cicil aircraft. A student permission is valid for 5 years but can be limited by the medical certificate. The medical certificate valid time varies according to your age.
