Typerating

To fly a  new helicoptertype you have to go thru a typerating course. The education consits of learning technical details on the specific type:

-Piston or turbine

-Assembly and materials

-Oils and maintenance

The following is practical training in flight, emergency procedures and so on. After completed typetraining, theory and practial you will do a flight test. The examination flight will take place with an inspector from the civil aviation autority. This is acquired for every new helicoptertype.
